(Also very simple Samples show these errors !!!)

2 months ago we have decided to buy an other DShow capapble Solution (arkaos MediaMaster Pro 3.0). We have used this Software on several Live Events, and it works perfect ! No Crash, no vertical flips, no growing time delay. (on the same Systems where we use the mitov libraries). So that is the proof that the problems definitely are in the Mitov Library.

Please give us an answer about:

1) Do you spend effort in this ? - or not (because you do not see these errors ...)
2) When will these errors be fixed ? Because we really wait hard for fixes !!!

With these Errors we can not use the Mitov Libraries ...

Hi,

I need your help again. I have a complete graph that uses mic, asiodevice, and mixer. The mixer output is plugged on tho components: the ASIODevice and the DSToSink.

On my developpement system, everything works well.

On the production computer, I hear what I supposed to, but when I chexk on the file recorded by DirectShow, I have only the video (so the filtergraph works), but no sound.

Yhe graph is created by DSToSink, so the sound sould render normally in it. Is there some additionnal dll's I should have to distribute?

I already tried copying all labpack's dll on the production computer with no success.

Any help here would be appreciated.

Hi,

I have the following setup:

1 ASIO device (4 in and 4 out)
1 AudioMixer with 5 channels

the audio mixer's output is plugged into ASIO device, and the 4 ASIO device inputs are plugged into the 4 first channels of the audio mixer.

the 5th line of the audio mixer is a DSAudioPlayer, and it plays an url.

Everithing works fine until the url stops playing. When it stops, everything stops.

Is there a way I can continue mixing the 4 other channels while the 5th channel is stopped?

Have a strange situation with a Windows XP computer. Borland C++ Builder 5, not sure which Video Lab version, the one that works with Builder 5.

VLDSCapture1->Open(); is failing but just in one piece of the code. The code is below, taken almost direct from the Advanced Video Capture sample.. One problem is the computer it's failing on is in Australia and I am in Oklahoma.

Have almost the same code in another part of the same app that is working when called. Running Advanced Video Capture also works and it all works fine on 3 computers I have tested it on here. Out of a dozen or so installations this is the only computer we have ran into that it fails on.

Could it be something weird in DirectX or maybe the video driver on that computer. Going to have her reinstall DirectX 9 but don't have much hope.

Hi,

I trying to create AVI files, using the VLRecordedBitmapDemo as example (and using BMDThread instead of TThread). I manage the code in a separate unit so I instantiate the component in code :

Then I use a similar loop as in the demo to write the frames

However this generates, even with the compression enabled, very big files. I tried to slow down the sending of the frames by adding a Sleep(40) command in the loop. Then the files are effectively smaller, but synchronization is wrong (they movie plays too fast).

What is the proper way to slow down the frame pumping, and still to keep the timing correct ?

Please_help_with_2_Errors.zip (Size: 53.96 KB / Downloads: 0) We've writtten and sent a simple test Project to Boian, that shows an error when you try to Play 4 FullHD (1920x1080) Videos encoded with h.264 (mov, mp4) on a form and additionally on 4 additional Forms, started from the main form.
If you start / stop the Videos (with Buttons on "main form") several times (as an enduser also will do) the App hangs up with "AppHangB1" or without an error or sometimes also with other errors.

We've tested with several DirectShow Filters (ffdshow tryouts, lav filters, haali media, cyberlink ...) - same error.

We've sent mails months ago - and we got no final answer.

So what should we do now - because we've paid Money for the mitov library and already have one customer that uses a solution built with usage of mitov library.

Additional we have a lot of other Problems using the mitov library - but "step by step" - we thought - hmmm - step1 ... no solution / no answer ....

We use the .Net Libraries with VS2010

So once more - by this way (via the Forum):

I have an A/V USB capture stick feeding in an s-Video signal from a set top box. Using the DSVdeoCapture demo application the television image displays nicely except for the lack of deinterlacing. Whenever the subjects in the image move, the interlaced lines can easily be seen. From what I've read it seems that I need a de-interlace filter to smooth out the effects.
1) Does VideoLab come with such a filter?
2) How do I modify the DSVdeoCapture demo application to include de-Interlacing so that the video ends up smooth when motion is occuring?
I would REALLY appreciate some guidance with this.

I'm writing a little program to capture video frames from a webcam and save them as avi. My setup is simple

Dscapture > mirror > snapshot > DSvideologger

Works great!! Only one problem. All the video seems to be saved in resolution 1280 X 720. I have tried to set the resolution to 1920 X 1080 (my HP HD-4410 is capable, It works with the oem software) but nothing changes. Tried all resolution but the result is always 1280 X 720.

I have a TVLImageDisplay instance aligned alClient on a Firemonkey form. I want to be able to resize this form, but when I do, the TVLImageDisplay resizes differently - seems to be half the new size!

I don't touch the dimensions of the TVLImageDisplay - I resize its containing window. I also tried this with the TVLImageDisplay as a child of a TScaledLayout instance, but that showed the same problem.

Also, I get AV errors with exception class of $C0000005 (screencap attached, I hope )

Status bar does not update while video is playing

I'm using Delphi 2010 and Basic Video with VLDSVideoPlayer and VLImageDisplay.

I have noticed that the statusbar does not update while a video is playing. I have coded the status bar to display the current time as HH:MM:SS. I have noticed that when a video is playing the current time on the status bar stops incrementing.

When I click the "Pause" button the statusbar displays the current time as expected, incrementing each second. When I click the "Resume" button the current time on the statusbar stops incrementing again.

How can I keep the status bar time updated while a video is playing?

Buttons "Fade Out" when going to or coming from a Maximized State

I'm using Basic Video with Delphi 2010.

I have noticed some strange behavior. I've got a form with several buttons, a VLDSVideoPlayer, a VLImageDisplay and a TrackBar.

If you maximize the screen when a video is playing the buttons "Fade Out". If the panel color is clButtonFace then it looks like buttons have disappeared. If you click on where a button should be, then it comes back however the click action takes effect which may not be desireable.

If you restore the screen from a maximized state the buttons also "Fade Out".

Has anyone else experienced this? How did you deal with it?

I'd hate to disable the the biMaximize BorderIcon.

Basic Video Keeps Locking Computer

I'm using Basic Video with Delphi 2010. In simple terms I've got one TVLDSVideoPlayer, one TVLImageDisplay and three Buttons. Each button triggers the display of a windows media file.

I'm having a hard time finding the correct sequence of Methods and Property calls to keep the application from freezing up. This seems to only happen when the buttons are clicked in rapid succession one after the other.

I purposely have done this to simulate an end user trying to break the application.

What steps and in what order do I need to perform as to prevent the application from locking up?

Any help with be greatly appreciated.
